Lately the weather has been up in the air and being unexpected, no pun intended. One day it’s scorching hot out and the next day break out your winter jacket. Hopefully I don’t jinx this, but this week and the previous week, the weather has been mildly hot out and consistent. So this week I’m talking about a drink instead of an actual dish. This week I’m talking about the avocado shake. Now, I know it sounds weird drinking avocado. Sounds like you’re drink a glass of shampoo, but hear me out!
This is actually one of top drinks on my lists. I’m telling you it’s the easiest recipe to follow and it will only take you 10 minutes to make. Plus, you may have all these ingriedents laying around your kitchen, so no need to go out on a food run just for this recipe. It’s a simple drink with avocado, milk, sugar, ice cubes, and ice cream blended together in a shake like consistancy. As much as avocados are used in savory dishes, in this case it’s actually lightly sweet.
It’s one those drinks that is a win-win for everyone. Eating avocado, or drink avocado in this case, has several health benefits. Avocados are loaded with fiber, have more potassium than bananas, and healthy for your heart. The list of health benefits goes on.
